Fun Fact: “the September equinox is the moment when the sun appears to cross the celestial equator, heading Southward.” the September equinox determines the first official day of fall!🍂
FALL = SPOOKY SEASON
Anytime I buy decorations, I make sure what I buy can typically be used during more than one holiday. My fall decorations are perfect for fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving! With that being said, when Halloween comes around, I usually buy a couple extra specific pieces to decorate for the occasion😉

Multipurpose Decorations:
Fall Floral Arrangements: these pieces are perfect for all months August-November🍂🍁
Candlestick Holders: these are the perfect addition to any decor, typically anywhere in your home.
Candlesticks: these are my FAVORITE when it comes to decorating. I chose green to complement my fall decor, but they will also be a staple piece for my Christmas decorations!
Buffet/Side tables: I knew before we moved in to our new house, side tables for my dining room was going to be a must. They add the right amount of “homey” touch to our room and can be easily decorated no matter your style!
Mirror: a mirror is always an option for any side table you want to decorate to cover a significant amount of empty wall. Taking the place of that expensive wall art you’ve been eyeing😉
Candles: whether for decor purposes, fragrance, or both, candles are always the perfect, most inexpensive addition to your home decor.
Halloween Specific Decor:
Hocus Pocus faux Books: if you’re anything like me, Hocus Pocus is THE Halloween movie of choice. Anything involving the Sanderson sisters, I’m here for it🧙🏻
Pumpkins: when it comes to pumpkins, I favor the more decorative pieces. This is probably my favorite Halloween purchase so far!
Witches broom/Legs: these I actually purchased from a local store, but there are so many options when you’re shopping online for witches brooms, witches legs, etc. They add just the right amount of Halloween feel, while also keeping it simple!
Bats: “it’s fricken BATS!” (iykyk) I added the bats this year more for my babies than myself, but after putting them up, I am OBSESSED!!
Simple but stylish is my favorite way to describe my decorations. Be sure to follow for more!
